Crystal clear water, smooth as a mirror, that is the privilege of the bay of Cala Millor and its surroundings. Big rocks, fields of Posidonia and some sandy areas form all together the perfect combination for the development of one of the richest Mediterranean eco-systems. Through the various and beautiful landscapes, underwater caves and steep drop offs, you will see a wide range of sea life: groupers, moray eels, congers, barracudas... The average visibility is about 30 metres and the temperature varies between 18 ºC in May and 26 ºC in August.
We have made a selection of 28 different diving sites varying between 10 and 30 metres deep and at a distance of no more than 30 minutes boat-ride. Our diving area lies between the marine reserve of Cala Ratjada in the north and Porto Cristo in the south. Everybody can enjoy diving here, no matter what your experience is or what your requirements are, there is definitely something here for you. Even if you try them all, you will never have the feeling of doing the same dive twice.
From Monday to Saturday we meet at the diving centre at 09:30 (but if you want to, we pick you up at your hotel first) and we prepare and embark in the "Abakuá" to spend the whole morning at sea. The estimated time back is about 1:30 after 2 dives of about an hour each. Between the dives we serve some coffee with croissants while we change the tanks and we navigate to the second dive site. Before, during and after the dives you will be accompanied by one of our instructors, who will help you with everything you need and will watch your safety. If you do not want to bring your own equipment, you can rent everything here. But if you have brought your own things you can easily leave them with us during your holiday instead of having to take all this wet material to your hotel. Our tanks have both DIN and INT connections.
