The pirate’s cave

This is NOT an underwater cave for divers. This excursion does not require any previous experience and is suited for non-divers!
Spectacular excursion for divers and non-divers. After the necessary time giving equipment, etc. we take the boat and make a nice trip along the shore for some 45 minutes. We bring you to Cala Varques, near Porto Cristo, where we anchor the boat and from there we swim to the only entrance this huge unexplored cave has. Once inside, we start the expedition for about an hour enlightening these wonders with our torchlight. We explore several chambers and we swim into three underground lakes looking at all the beautiful hundreds of stalactites, stalagmites and columns. Another 45 minutes’ boat ride will then bring you back to Cala Bona making a small stop in a little bay for some snorkelling or a swim. The guides know the pirate’s cave very well. They are diving instructors, experts in speleology and first aid. The beauty and size of this cave is comparable to the famous caves of Porto Cristo but is completely virgin. An unforgettable experience!
